We are developing a portal which aggregates photo blogs and we chose InfluxHost to host our site. It is mostly implemented with php and mysql. We also have a php script running as a cron job on an hourly basis.
Influx provided all the tools we needed via the cpanel interface. Database administration was very easy via cpanel, and phpmyadmin. File management can be done via cpanel; but you can also use any ftp tool, or even better ssh to the remote server and use regular unix commands ( e.g. scp). In general, cpanel offers several interfaces to manage the different functions. The only limitation is the execution of external commands for obvious security reasons. The InfluxHost technical team is very concern by security issues, and audits their systems on a regular basis. Actually, the only problem we ever had was when a curl function was disabled during a security check. The problem was promptly resolved and it had virtually no impact on production.

I searched around on the net for a host for quite awhile before I was referred to InfluxHost by a friend. Before I even bought a package I had a question and sent them an e-mail. The e-mail was responded to the same day and I had my response. I am very happy with the price to benefit ratio. I have used other hosts in the past and they have been unreliable because they are only resellers, InfuxHost is not one of these companies. They have been around for quite awhile and I am very happy with their service. I give them a 10 out of 10.

I've been with InfluxHost for a few years. I've watched as they've grown. Initially there were downtimes once in awhile, but in the last year i haven't noticed a single one. The ultimate goal of a webhost is to make you forget that they exist, and influx has been able to do that with their great uptime and their respect of the sanctity of my inbox (no spam!)
